When can I get my Equipter Tow-A-Lift?

The Projected Production Window for the Equipter Tow-A-Lift will change depending on how many pre-orders are placed. A pre-order placed as of this writing would have a projected delivery date of 2025.

Does the Equipter Tow-A-Lift require training and certification to be operated?

Consult your local regulatory bodies for certification requirements.

We suggest referring to OSHA standard 1910.178(I) for more information on what certification and training is required for this type of equipment.

What size vehicle do you need to tow it?

The tow vehicle should have a tow rating of at least 3,000 lbs.

How far away does the remote work?

100 ft in an unobstructed line of sight.

If the remote stops working, can it be operated from the unit?

Yes, from the local display, however some functions will be limited.

Can I drive it with the boom lifted?

Yes.

Are there any safety features?

There are some safety features and parameters in the operating software.

What is the fork length?

The fork length is 42".

Can I add fork extenders?

Equipter does NOT recommend the use of fork extenders for safety reasons.

Can I tow it down the road while hauling a load?

No.

How well does the Tow-A-Lift do in yards?

The Equipter Tow-A-Lift has the same large tires that are provided on the Equipter 4000. The ground pressure will be similar to the 4000.
